Welcome to Scouts SA - Hillcrest Scout Group, located at Lot 1, Melville Street in Hillcrest, Australia. As a part of the global Scouts movement, our institution is dedicated to contributing to the development of young people, helping them learn, grow, and play a constructive role in society.

At Scouts SA, our aim is to educate and empower young individuals to achieve their full potential in five key areas: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual. We believe that character is the sum of these areas, and we refer to them as the "SPICES" to help us remember their importance.

Scouting is much more than just a place for young people to have fun. With our focus on "Creating a Better World" and "Education for Life," we strive to make a positive impact on our local, national, and international communities. As a voluntary, non-political, and inclusive movement, Scouts SA welcomes everyone who is eager to learn and grow.

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our young Scouts through the South Australian Young Achiever Awards. This event recognizes the outstanding contributions they make to our society.

In addition, we organize various activities and camps throughout the year. For example, the Moonta Water Activities Camp, held on the weekend of December 17th-18th, 2022, provided an opportunity for Scouts from the 1st Gawler to engage in exciting water-based adventures.
