Our child care centre is an intimate 3-room space that is friendly, warm, safe, and welcoming for children, families, and educators alike. We believe in working in partnership with families to create a nurturing environment that caters to the individual needs of each child. We recognize that parents are the first educators in a child's life and value the important role they play. Our relationships with parents and families are built on open communication and respect.

To ensure quality education and care, we follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and The Kindergarten Program. These frameworks support our educators in planning for children's interests, ideas, and intentions, as well as incorporating parent, family, and community priorities and contexts. Our programs cater to children from Toddlers through to Kindergarten, promoting continuity of learning and building connections between their prior, current, and future experiences.

We believe that learning through play is the most effective way to educate children in their early years. Our curriculum focuses on hands-on activities that nurture development and prepare children for the wider community and school life. We emphasize self-help and life skills, mathematics, language and literacy, pre-writing skills, and social interactions.

Parent participation is highly encouraged, and we provide numerous opportunities for parents to give and seek feedback on their child's progress. Whether it's through events, meetings, program surveys, Storypark, learning stories, children's journals, or verbal communication, we value the input of parents in their child's learning journey.

As the centre director, I have over 26 years of experience in the childcare sector, with 20 years as a centre director. I am passionate about working with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for children. I am also a mother of two boys who have gone through childcare and school to university. With my Advanced Diploma in Community Services, Children's Services, and relevant First Aid certificate, I am dedicated to assisting children in their development and learning, while encouraging their successes.
