"What a marvelous place! Sunrise, sunset, dog beach, lighthouse, jetty, pier, lawns, ocean for both sailing and surfing, diving, fishing, jogging, cycling, cafe, picnic, amusement park, almost everything! What else can you expect? The only problem is poor transportation."

"Beautiful beach place for a walk or a morning jog. Well-maintained, clean and lots of crabs and sometimes you can see dolphin too"

"I was on the Gold Coast doing a dog/house-sit. We took Champ to The Spit, where there is a designated off-leash dog beach. Champ had so much fun!! Everyone was very respectful. Champ is nervous around other dogs, and pet owners were very understanding. Champ stayed on his 5 metre lead but still had so much fun. Highly recommend!!"

"Nice wide section of dog friendly beach with nice surf conditions most days. Also great for photos when walking down to the lighthouse end. Great for sunrise photos and astro photos."
