St Morris Reserve
About the Business
Welcome to St Morris Reserve, one of Adelaide's most desirable places to live, work, and visit. Located on Seventh Avenue in Saint Morris, this establishment is a park and a point of interest that offers a range of services to meet the needs of the community.
At St Morris Reserve, we prioritize caring for our communities and fostering participation in community and civic life. We are dedicated to pursuing initiatives that improve our environment and protect our resources, as well as growing a strong local economy and encouraging investment.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we apply sustainable and environmentally responsible approaches to development. We offer tours, walks, and even a native plant giveaway, allowing visitors to connect with nature and learn about the local ecosystem.
We are excited to announce that from 7th to 8th October, we will be hosting special events, including tours and activities. Be sure to book your spot now to secure your place.
In addition, we value the input of our community members. We have created a draft Arts & Culture Plan 2023β2027, and we invite you to have your say. Your feedback is important to us as we strive to create a vibrant and inclusive cultural scene.
For those driving electric vehicles, we have six publicly accessible EV charging stations located within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. These stations make it convenient for EV owners to charge their vehicles while enjoying the amenities at St Morris Reserve.
We are also excited to share that the Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre will soon undergo a transformation into a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. This upgrade will provide an even better experience for swimmers of all ages.
In addition to these exciting developments, the Council has recently appointed a nationally recognized civil contractor to undertake a major flood mitigation project. This project aims to reduce the risk of flooding in the suburbs of St Morris, Trinity Gardens, Maylands, and Stepney, known as the Trinity Valley.
We are committed to supporting local artists and have created five ongoing exhibition spaces for emerging and established artists. These spaces provide a platform for artists to showcase their work and contribute to the vibrant arts scene in our community.
Please note that it is important to dispose of batteries properly and not place them in kerbside bins. Batteries have the potential to harm the environment, so we encourage residents to use designated battery recycling facilities.
We are also excited to announce upcoming facility upgrades at Cruickshank Reserve, Burchell Reserve, and the Dunstan Adventure Playground. These upgrades will enhance the amenities and provide better recreational opportunities for local families and the wider community.
Lastly, the River Torrens Linear Park Path is being enhanced to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for recreational users. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible space for everyone to enjoy.
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is represented by a Mayor and 13 Elected Members who represent six wards. We strive to serve and represent the interests of our diverse community.
We invite you to explore everything that St Morris Reserve and the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters have to offer. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Reviews
"St Morris! They need some toilet facilities here but otherwise a perfectly serviceable park and playground."
"Playground is ancient and boring, and the grassy area is full of dog poo always hidden away in the tall grass cos it's never cut often enough... no BBQ area or picnic tables, this place is in desperate need of a facelift, and not in 3-5 years, I'm talking now..."
"A wobderful park, with a great playground and heaps of open space to run and play, or have a picnic"
