"Terrible experience with getting my hair cut today at Barbershop Express. The person cutting my hair barely spoke English and did not understand what I wanted. They cut the hair too short around my cow-lick and my hair stick up in that area. This place is not about customer service, its all about getting people in the door and then out the door as quickly as possible."

"This place needs to be more aware of who was waiting next. Stood there for 40mins the other day with my son and with a baby in pram. 2 ppl walked in after me. And the barbers walk over and say who's next I was getting ready to walk up and some guy just walks in front of me saying he was. And they just take them in not double checking of who the actual person next was. Not good enough. Don't have a walk ins welcome first in first served If you don't actually follow through. Went to an actual hair dresser a few shops down who welcomed my son in straight away. If your in a rush, prob avoid this place."

"First time coming here couple days ago and I was sceptical as I have quite curly hair and run a mullet style which people frequently mess up. I had a bloke that had quite the goatee serve me and he done an amazing job, understood I was trying to grow out the back and didn’t do anything to disturb the length while tidying up the side with a fade and top with trim. Wish I got his name as I’d happily go back again."

"Always good, never an issue, won't mention my favourite barbers name as he is already requested enough and busy enough when I go in :) Only improvements I think is they need to answer their phone so o can check my barber is in before I make the trip."

"Highly "NOT" recommend going here! Very disheartening experience felt as though no one wanting to cut my little boys hair, we just kept getting pushed back. Very unwelcoming and distressing for any parent. I was advised by the person at the counter that there was only one other person waiting as it is a "first come service" and if you didn't wait in store you lose your spot. I was happy to wait and keep my little ones entertained. While waiting there were 5 people served before me. By this point my little ones have gotten restless which is expected at this age 1 & 3. Which is why I enquired how long the wait would be beforehand. If I knew it was going to be too long I would have came back another time. When we were finally served, my little boy clearly by this point was oversitting still. So I said to the barber, that we'll have to try again another time. I expressed politely how I've been waiting longer than expected due to 5 customers being served before me. The barbers response was people were waiting for their preferred Barbers. No sorry for anything! I was looked at like it was my fault and that I had done something wrong. If there was only one person waiting? how does that first come, first service basis work?
