"Ordered and told would be 20 min wait ended up being 45mins to wait for a disappointing meal. Scrambled eggs seems it’s just powdered eggs, everything tasted pre made and rushed. Spending $80 you’d assume quality ingredients from the kitchen hand. Better off going to a local cafe vs big restaurant chain where shortcuts are commonplace for revenue I normally don’t like being critical but im hoping this review comes to create good change. It seems like management are the ones to look to not the staff If I could give advice I would hire more staff for peak hours as the reputation of the restaurant is on the line. Could also hear a blender going off in the main restaurant so i would advise doing that in the back. Do not order the banana smoothie - it’s tastes like laffy taffy"

"An hour for breakfast is ridiculous, especially after being told it would only be half an hour. When approaching the counter to request an update (45 mins later) I was told sorry you just have to wait and they refused to ask the kitchen when it would be ready. I was told "no! we won't ask them cause they will just yell at us and get angry!" with attitude. An hour for a cold big breakfast and avocado toast is unacceptable and the rudeness & disrespect I was given by the young male member of staff was not appreciated. We will no longer be eating at Dome and will instead take our buisness to Laneway 7. Oh and the poached eggs were hard and cold so how long had it been sitting for. Funny how as soon as I asked for a refund it came out"

"Very slow to clean out table, watched 3 servers walk past and gave up and cleaned the table ourselves, the Cafe was half full of people but there was only 1 person on the coffee machine so we got our drinks after our cooked breakfasts. Fun for the kids, kids food menu was pretty good and filling. A decent amount of variety for the kids which they enjoyed. A shame they were out of freddo frogs for the kids extra special treat drinks but other than that they enjoyed themselves."

"1st visit made us come back. 28/4/23 2nd visit, clearly ordered egg on the side of our fritters , and came with no egg. So made us pay even though we thought we already payed for it . 3rd visit 3/5/23 poached eggs came with this order but not exactly poached . And tomatos came seared. Not really cooked.. almost raw Great place, and will most likely give it a fourth try . But attention to detail on service and food needs to be looked into . My wife and I work all week and the morning are the only times we get to spend together. Always looking at new places to have breakfast. Lots more items on your menu we would love to try , so hopefully it's not the last time we visit."

"From their extensive breakfast options, to their awesome lunch, meal or snack options. They also have a good kids options so you can be assured they don't kiss out either. They truly are a great option any time of the day. Their coffee is spectacular and my absolute favourite out of all the cafe options. Their blend is full and rich and hits the taste buds perfectly every time."
