Welcome to Coorara Primary School, located in the beautiful suburb of Morphett Vale in Adelaide, Australia. We are an establishment of great importance, serving as a primary school for students from Reception through to year 7. At Coorara, we recognize and acknowledge the Kaurna People and their Native Title Rights to the Country on which our school stands. We honor their continued custodianship and spiritual connection to their land, waters, and community, paying our respects to the Kaurna People and their Elders past, present, and emerging.
With our picturesque grounds and positive partnership with Coorara Preschool, our school provides a nurturing environment for approximately 230 students. As a small and close-knit community, we value and encourage the active participation of all members in the life of the school. At Coorara, our focus is always on the well-being and learning of our students, ensuring that they come first. Our core values of respect, honesty, teamwork, responsibility, caring, and trust underpin everything we do at Coorara.
We are excited to announce that Coorara Primary will be hosting our Annual "Colour Explosion Fun Run" on Friday 29 September. To participate, each student is required to contribute a minimum of $10. This event serves as a school fundraiser, with proceeds going towards the refurbishment of our basketball courts. Register online at www.myprofilepage.com.au by Friday 22 September to secure your spot. Prizes will be awarded to the Senior and Junior students who raise the most funds.
In addition, our talented students will be showcasing their skills at the Norwood Concert Hall on Thursday 17 August. Tickets for this performance can be purchased online, and we invite you to join us in celebrating their achievements.

"Not great. I'm struggling in high school due to lack of preparing for middle and high school. + Had many different reasons why it wasn't good. Lack of controlling bullying. Education. And some teachers were alright. Only like 4 teachers I got on with. SSO's were great though. Also went on vacation to qld, we told the school that we were going away for a week, They called us every single day saying, "Your child got marked away on the role, call us if you think this is a mistake." Or "Your child has been marked unknown, Call us to explain why he isnt here""

I love how they can cater to kids of all learning abilities, the kids and teachers are all lovely people and there's a real community feel at Coorara.
