"I’ve never left a bad review before but I deemed it necessary after my experience here. The older lady working on the afternoon of the 28th of December 2022 (I believe her name was Britney) had appalling customer service. She was rude and condescending in how she spoke to both my friend and I, from the point we walked into the store until after we made our purchase and left. We were nothing but polite to her if not a little timid (due to her rude attitude intimidating us both). I do not recall a single moment where she spoke to us as if she didn’t believe she was above us."

"Last Sunday I went to Pacific fair for shopping. I bought a pair of shoes at this place. Fist of all, the lady gave us a bad attitude, as we were not the same color as hers. That is the only explanation I can give because we were normal customers. I normally don’t give bad feedback, but I couldn’t stand the worse experience I had in this shop. Tried the shoes and that was the last pair of this category, excluding the display. I told the lady that I am going to visit another shop and come back for this pair if that is ok. She said I can’t hold for you. I said that is fair enough, you can sell it, but I will still come back and if it wasn’t sold, I will take it. Agreed! Went out then came back after 5 minutes, there were no one in the shop, waited couple of minutes, then she came out (she was at the back of the shop) and brought the shoes out for me, which were in their box. I said I decided to take them, she said that fine, and I paid $190 for them. I needed these shoes for the next Saturday, so I didn’t open them once I arrived home. Just Friday night, I took them out to see how they go with my suit, only to find out they are both left shoes! No right!! On Saturday morning, I took the shoes back and informed the shopkeeper, the first word she said that they can’t refund. I said I am happy to take another pair, but the same, or if there is any other shoes I like. She brought me used and damaged shoes to wear. I said I can’t take these old ones and I demand a refund. Then she said they can’t refund people on weekends. I went out to buy a new pair at David Jones and will go back there during week days and hopefully get a refund. Please be aware of this shop, it is a TRAP!!"

"Read all the bad reviews so I was quite worried if I would be able to get a refund on pair of boots which fell apart after 3 hours wear. Phoebe the sales manager was absolutely lovely when we purchased the shoes. Three days later the shoes came apart and Emily the assistant manger was equally as helpful in getting me a full refund with my proof of purchase. Thank you ladies your service was wonderful just a shame the shoes came apart so easily."

"Short version? Don't shop here as customer service is terrible. Long version? See below: Let me regale you with a tale of dishonesty, heartbreak, and questionable business practices. This tale begins when I foolishly decided to visit Windsor Smith, Pacific Fair to buy my fiancé a new pair of boots. I say foolish because any man who has bought the gift of clothing for a woman understands the risks involved with such an endeavour. It could be the wrong size, wrong colour, wrong style, or simply something she would never wear. Understanding this risk, I asked the shop girl, Taylor, about the returns policy and was told I could bring it back within 14 days. Buoyed by this information, I purchased a pair of boots and presented them to the love of my life, only to be told the “cut was too high”. I had no clue what this meant, but what I did know was I could return them within 14 days for a refund. So four days later, I returned to Windsor Smith, Pacific Fair and was met by Emily. I smiled and told her I needed to return the boots for a refund as the “cut was too high”. Emily didn’t even bother looking at the boots, which were untouched, and told me the store had a “no refund policy”. I was taken aback. I tried to explain this is not what I was told when I bought the shoes as I never would have bought them if I had. Emily took my name and number and told me the Area Manager would call me “if not today, then tomorrow” to discuss it further. I left the store in a state of confusion. After two days the Area Manager had not done me the courtesy of a phone call, so I returned to the store where I was met again with Taylor, who sold me the boots in the first place. “Were you looking for a refund or an exchange?” she asked. “Um, a refund.” I replied hopefully. Taylor took the boots from me and told me to come back the next day for the refund. Apparently, she just needed to send an email for approval. The following day I returned as arranged but I was met again by Emily. I told her I was there for my refund. Emily clacked some buttons on her keyboard and after a minute of staring at her computer screen, told me she couldn’t see anything about a refund. My lack of enthusiasm for this response was apparently evident as Emily handed me a phone to speak with the “Area Manager”. I took the phone and was met with the profoundly unhelpful Maria. During my 10 minute conversation with Maria, I pointed out the fact the business lost nothing by letting me return the boots for a refund. Maria acknowledged this was the case but retorted, “Sorry, no refunds.” Maria pointed out this was written on the bottom of the receipt which I found odd seeing as a receipt is only provided AFTER I’ve paid. With my will to fight gone, I handed the phone back to Emily. To conclude, not only does Windsor Smith not allow refunds, they also won’t give store credit. They only allow an exchange and only within 14 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF PURCHASE! This makes it practically impossible to buy anything from them as a gift to someone else. Never in my life have I felt so taken advantage of and mislead by a business. If I had bought the same boots from Myer, or from the Windsor Smith online store, I could have returned them with no questions asked. I am truly shocked they are able to continue trading with such miserable customer service. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review but please DO NOT SHOP HERE."

The styles trend towards a mature customer, great business and formal shoe types. The shoe sizes are in European sizing's, the staff can help you with the correct size. Thank you."
