Glade Crescent Reserve
About the Business
Welcome to Glade Crescent Reserve, a regional playground located in Hallett Cove, Australia. This establishment is not just your ordinary park, but a point of interest and tourist attraction that offers a wide range of activities for both children and adults.
Upgraded in 2013, Glade Crescent Reserve boasts a stunning wetland development and the addition of new shade sails in 2017. As you explore this beautiful reserve, you'll find a grassed terraced amphitheater, enhanced planting, and open space. The reserve is conveniently situated along the Coast to Vines Rail Trail, allowing visitors to easily access the park while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty.
For the little ones, the junior playground offers a plethora of entertainment options. The three mound slides, including two tall slides and one small slide, are perfect for a group of friends to slide down together. A shade sail was added in 2017, ensuring protection from the sun throughout the day. At the bottom of the slides, you'll find a grassy kick-about area with stunning views of the wetlands. Additionally, children can challenge themselves on the rocky river with log bridges or embark on their own archeological excavation in the sand pit to discover dinosaur fossils.
Imaginative engineers will be enthralled by the bright red train, while agile climbers can test their skills on the climbing blocks. Swing enthusiasts will be pleased to find two basket swings and a baby swing, perfect for swaying and enjoying the outdoors.
At the southern end of the site, the senior playground awaits with its long zip-line flying fox surrounded by a compacted gravel bike circuit with mini-jumps. This area is sure to provide endless entertainment for older children and adults alike.
Glade Crescent Reserve is equipped with all the necessary facilities for a long stay-and-play experience. Numerous seating areas, shelters, and picnic tables are available, along with a couple of BBQs for those who wish to indulge in a delicious outdoor meal. A toilet is conveniently located on the Quailo Avenue side of the reserve, ensuring utmost convenience for visitors.
Additional amenities include bike stands, a drinking fountain, and lighting for those who wish to explore the reserve during the evening hours. In 2017, the Glade Crescent Wetland was developed as part of our commitment to being a Water Sensitive City. To learn more about this initiative, please visit our website.
Glade Crescent Reserve is just one of many parks and playgrounds situated along the Coast to Vines Rail Trail. Take your time and explore the other smaller parks along your journey, or venture along the Waterfall Creek Linear Park, which is located near the reserve.
We are proud to announce that in 2014, Glade Crescent Reserve was awarded the Parks and Leisure Australia award under the category of Play Space Award - Category B. This recognition is a testament to the exceptional quality and enjoyment this reserve offers to its visitors.

Reviews
"Great playground for toddlers as well as older children. BBQ and flying fox too. Also has a lawned over for running around. Sandpit too."
"This park is great for catching some sun nestled between two hills and the bike/walking track is amazing! Reminds me a bit of Gorge Rd at Athelston on the north eastern side of the city!"
"We came here for a birthday party for people who live locally. It's a great park! 20 kids were entertained for 2 hours no problem. Flying foxes, slides, swings big open spaces, granola to follow. A great under cover seating area and bbq, toilets."
"The playground was mostly under construction when we got there. The slides are quiet steep and are not suitable for toddlers at all. Close to shops if you want to get something to eat after play time. No fences, so not great for little kids at all"
