"This place is awful and it’s so sad because it used to be owned by the same person who owns LA nails in Madeley which is amazing and this terrible new salon has kept the name and is tarnishing that reputation. I asked 3 times to just hand file instead of using the drill since my nails are already so thin and damaged but she literally refused and just went ahead and drilled them. I asked for a buff and polish but she ignored me and did a “manicure” which just consisted of her literally ripping at my skin (not just my cuticles?) for 10 minutes and leaving me with ripped up skin around all my nails and then doing a 30 second rub of each hand. I haven’t had many manicures but I hardly think that constitutes a manicure and I really don’t think it’s normal to rip off so much skin for no reason at all. It made me feel sick. I’m also probably actually sick now because two of the girls were snorting and sneezing the whole time I was there so were clearly sick. I would maybe understand if they were flat out and short staffed but I was the only customer there when I arrived and there were 4 staff just sitting around, with one even falling asleep on the front counter making them all crack up laughing. While that is funny, it really just went to show how much they didn’t need to have sick staff members there. Really disappointed and feeling pretty grosse about the whole experience."
"The lady who took off my acrylics did it in the most rough and painful manner - didn’t soak and didn’t even cut them off in smaller sections but pretty much pulled them off in one go. She managed to chip my thumb so badly that it split and still continued to try to pull it off when I recoiled because there was blood. Eventually she just left part of the acrylic on because it was stuck. The rest of the manicure was rough and there was no moisturiser used. I paid when I was choosing my polish and then was left to sit there and dry them whilst she worked on the customer next to me. After ten minutes I tried to get her attention several times to check if I could leave and she continued to ignore me. Eventually I just left. The lady also took a call on speaker phone whilst I was having the manicure and shouted incredibly loudly in my face whilst she was on the call. They also waved off a customer who arrived saying they were too busy, and were quite rude towards her. The next lady who arrived was immediately shown in! I have gone here a few times and there was a girl who worked here who was really good, careful, and friendly, and actually made an attempt to talk to you. Sadly she seems to have gone. I will not be returning and I wouldn’t recommend a manicure or acrylic removal unless you want your nail bed ripped off."
"I'm very unhappy with the service I received from here today. I got a pedicure which wasn't bad other than the fact the my skin was cut with the nail clippers. My main complaint came when I got my set of acrylics. I showed a picture of what I wanted and was told that it would be no problem. When it came to when my polished was being done was told they didn't have the colour I wanted or anything similar. I was only shown pink colours which I tried to explain I didn't want that. The woman doing my nails just seemed to get frustrated and I just said yes to a colour as she wasn't listening to me. After this, the rest of the nails were just rushed and left in a messy way. I went outside I since in the daylight just how bad they were. I returned to complain and they weren't apologetic for the fact my nails were nothing like I asked for, they have cut me on the foot and also was bleeding on my thumb from being cut again. Definitely give this place a miss"
"I went for a manicure with my friend This girl did a French tip for my nails and I didn’t like how it came out so I asked her to paint white over it. She said it will cost extra $15 to do a simple white polish because of the white tip she used for me But she said it will cost $70 for a whole set with the white tip So I was confused and asked why it will cost extra $15 for the white tip when I’m already paying $70 for the tip? She went off at me and raised her voice I told her not to raise her voice and that im not trying to argue I just wanna ask a question as im confused how normal white nails will cost me $95 and my friends nails with two stickers and design will cost $65 She raised her voice at me again and that’s when I lost my patience and raised my voice too She said she won’t do my nails I said ok take it off She was aggressively clipping off my nails and pulled it which hurt me a lot especially when it was freshly done I then had to wait for her about 20 minutes to take off None of them did anything about it No customer service and patience with customers She obviously had something going on with her and it wasn’t a reason to take it out on a customer just for asking a question. Will never go back and I don’t recommend this disgusting place with just stubborn rude workers There is no option for zero stars unfortunately! Don’t waste ur money and time going here it’s absolutely horrible"
"The second nail salon I’ve been to in Perth city, and they were great. This set was $85, which is pricey but she did do some really difficult line work, so I was happy to pay it. The ladies working there were very nice, didn’t speak to me much but I don’t believe they really need to do so in order to have great service. The only thing I would change would be the under the table UV lights. They absolutely reek- I am guessing because they are extremely old and need a good scrub. When turned on they weren’t too nice, so I had to tilt my head away from them. But apart from that, it was a pretty great experience. This set wasn’t a refill either, and I believe it is shellac. However, if you’re new to acrylics I would recommend Angelic Nail Salon first before this - just because their are more “first-time friendly” I believe."
