"Receptionist (Sue) is really rude over the phone. She is not suited to public contact work and gives a bad impression of the clinic. She was unhelpful, impatient, abrupt and generally obnoxious. If there was a Fawlty Towers for health care, this would be it!"

"Phone Flinders Clinic on 23/5, receptionist Laura was lovely and helpful. Had to phone them again on 24/5 for an urgent appointment - asked for telehealth option to optimise the opportunity, receptionist on the day was rude, cold and inpatient, showed no signs of kindness. I was with a clinical psychologist when the phone call was made, she over heard our conversation and was shocked about how rudely I was spoken to. This clinic also doesn't have the courtesy to inform you when they have a change over of doctors, you only get told when you next ring to book an appointment that your GP no longer practice there. Previous family practice we went to when living elsewhere sent letters out to inform you when your regular doctor changes over, they even offered option to see a different doctor in same practice; if you decide to go to other practice, they would transfer your notes over to assist best care you would receive. Really puts Flinders Clinic in shame. This rude receptionist just made seeking medical care an even worse experience. Noone is asking her to go up and beyond to help, she talked down to people and made you feel so small in front of her. If didn't remember incorrectly, she was also the one flat out saying "no, you can't", when I was asked by the GP to pick up blood results and politely asked if I could please just pick up a copy of my blood results that I had done there on so and so date. Reception is the face of a practice, you don't need to love people to work there but you also can't be so cold and uncaring to do this role. This receptionist has been in the practice for a long time, maybe it's time for her to reflect on her behaviour and professionalism. She is damaging the brand for the practice. I chose to bear her when our GP was still working there, having a GP that knows us and happy to help was important. No that GP on longer works in Flinders Clinic, absolutely no reason to stay and having to put up with her. Now we have moved onto a different GP, so far so good, their staff are so lovely. No regrets exiting Flinders Clinic, that rude receptionist made the choice so easy make."

"So rude on the phone sue receptionist was combative I was ringing on behalf of a client with a disability, I watched sue last time we went in and she was nasty to fellow colleague. So I'm not on patient registry . This is unexceptable"

"Called this clinic because my usual Doctor's office were fully booked. I was just trying to get some information about the practice but the receptionist was really rude and sounded like she couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I had a couple more questions to ask but she just said "okay, good luck, bye" and hung up on me. Hopefully my usual doctors office has appointments soon because I will never come here."
