"Avoid at all costs. Applied through the Narelle Pool link for a new pool. They state clearly on the website it doesn’t affect your credit score and soft touch on your credit report. This is incorrect it does, and it does impact your credit score. After taking my bank statements, with evidence of decent savings and good income, no mortgage on property and other assets. They reply with an automated message which says fallen outside of our credit policy. No one is responding to my emails, nor phone as it just rings out. They have made a major impact on my file as I now won’t be able to apply for credit after 3 months which will now affect our pool build. I wouldn’t have done it if they had made a credit file Enquiry. As these lenders are frowned upon as they are 3rd tier. I only did as the rate was good, and they were associated with Narelle]an Pools. So now I won’t be going with Narellan Pools and making a formal complaint to the AFCA against their credit license number 488228. Be warned and avoid Money Market Lenders and Handy Pay. It’s not worth the hassle."

"HandyPay was amazing at the start when we were applying for a loan. Really fast turn around time for our brand new swimming pool/home improvement loan. However the customer service we have received since has been awful. I requested a Security Release on one of the vehicles over a week ago. The lack of communication was awful and then they finally told me they couldn't release the vehicle. For starters, it is a home improvement loan and not a car loan. You shouldn't require TWO cars as security against one loan (Joint cars sold would be 65k-70k and the loan isn't even that much). The loan was in a joint name, with both of us having excellent credit scores. We are currently refinancing our Home Mortgage which is about to pay this loan off in full in a couple of weeks and they still refused to release one of the vehicles. Companies like this shouldn't be so difficult when the customer has had the loan for sometime, made every payment on time and in full, have excellent credit scores, and advised the full loan would be paid in a few weeks and said we can have the one car left as security in the mean time. Extremely disappointed in this company and will ensure that anyone I do speak to knows not to use this company. Everyone please make an effort to read their reviews, because we were silly and didn't from the start."
