"I recently visited JB Hi-Fi Robina with the intention of purchasing an iPhone 14 Pro Max. As a regular customer who had previously enjoyed a positive price match experience, I was hopeful that this visit would be equally satisfactory. However, I am deeply disappointed with the service I received, prompting me to write this one-star review. According to JB Hi-Fi's policy, they offer a price match if a cheaper price is found elsewhere. In June, I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro Max for my wife, and the staff successfully matched the price from a specific website. The customer service I received on that occasion was exceptional, earning them a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. Today, however, I encountered a completely different response. I approached a staff member and presented several instances of price matches. To my surprise, the employee refused to honor the price match, claiming that JB Hi-Fi only matches prices from physical stores. This contradicted my previous experience and their own policy, as no such restriction was mentioned before. Seeking clarification and resolution, I requested to speak with the store manager. Regrettably, the individual I approached claimed to be the manager and failed to provide any further assistance or explanation. This lack of accountability and inconsistent policy enforcement is unacceptable. I am now left with no option but to raise a formal complaint and escalate the matter to the state manager. I believe it is crucial for JB Hi-Fi to clarify why I was able to secure a price match in early June but received an inconsistent response from the store manager this time. As a long-standing customer, I expected a higher standard of customer service, adherence to stated policies, and consistency in their approach. Unfortunately, my recent encounter at JB Hi-Fi Robina has left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. I sincerely hope that my complaint is addressed promptly and that appropriate measures are taken to rectify this situation. Overall, I cannot recommend JB Hi-Fi Robina based on this disappointing experience."
