Georges On Sorrento is the brainchild of Georges and the Covino family, who hail from Naples, Italy. With a rich history in the restaurant industry, they are the oldest generation of restaurateurs on the Gold Coast. Now in its second generation, the family-owned establishment has been a staple in the culinary scene since 1984.

The journey of Georges On Sorrento began in Romanas Nobbys Beach and continued with the opening of Broadbeach Valentinos in 1995, and Georges on Broadbeach in 1998. Today, we are thrilled to introduce Georges on Sorrento, a new addition to our family of restaurants. Joining Georges are his sons Alf and Emilio, and his wife Corina, who can often be found behind the bar.

At Georges On Sorrento, we offer a unique twist on traditional Italian cuisine. Our menu showcases an array of fresh seafood, homemade pasta, and delectable dishes prepared using our imported Marana wood-fired oven from Georges' hometown in Naples.
