"Booked for a week. Arrived at night. Directions to the place are horrible. In a gated community with people zooming around on their golf carts so be careful when driving & walking! Utensils were basic. No sharp knife or scissors. One towel each for the week. Blinds have gaps in the ends so room is light really early. No curtain in the lounge area so no privacy. Construction across the road that is noiser than a kid screaming. No spa/swimming pool. Talked to reception about changing rooms due to the noise. Offered us a room at azzura resort for an extra $250. Would not stay here again and would not recommend."

"Strongly wouldn’t recommend this place! Woke up with a sore back after sleeping in one of the beds, blinds were jammed and to top it off didn’t receive my bond until 3 weeks later. Plenty of other better places in the area."

"No amenities! Overall terrible furniture. The only good thing is the bed but the bedding on the bed is bad. No pool even though there are pictures. Thin walls so hope you like to hear crying children. Want to sleep in? No luck because the curtains do not block any light. Nice building for the most part but the company running the rentals went as cheap as possible in every way. The shared wifi is terrible. They brag about providing a smart TV but nothing will stream because the wifi is so bad."

"There are obviously different managers for various of these apartments. I have a read an unfavourable review from 12 months ago and nothing has changed since then. Dirty floors and bathroom - 2 towels, 1 hand towel and 1 face cloth for 2 people for 7 days. I had to request the floor be washed. Dirty pans in the kitchen - minimal amenities - great view - comfortable bed - - but disappointing to say the least (we even had to buy a coffee maker and egg flip!! Definitely not worth the $500/night we paid. It's a convenient location."

"I am terribly disappointed with the attitude of the hotel administration staff, she was extremely rude from day 1 of our stay. I cannot express my dissatisfaction and disappointment. She tried to blame us for leaving our townhouse unclean and not give our $100 deposit back. We have stayed in many resorts in the past, and have never experienced this sort of behaviour. Hope island is such a beautiful location, unfortunately this accommodation diminishes its value. I will never return nor recommend anyone to. I have never left such a bad review, however after this encounter I am forced to. The townhouse have not been maintained and do leave a bad smell. The bathroom is also dirty and water flow is slow."
