"Not even deserving a one star, I bought a diamond ring really expensive one, after a couple of months after purchasing it, one of diamond fell out from my ring and luckily I saw it a little piece of diamond, brought back with loose diamond to store. They have told me it needs to send back to head office to do assessment by their specialist jeweller . They keep blaming me about knocked off then after a argument went on for months and asked me to do pay 270$ to fix it. I have spent thousand of dollars to buy an expensive ring and within a few months there was a problem without even wearing it too often . I would highly recommend not to go to store and wasting your time and money as it’s not a good quality and a very bad service after you found out something wrong with your buying things."
"NO STARS! Rang regarding telemarketing texts i get from Zamels about sales etc. Have tried the customer service email details given but this was not a valid email address. There is no way of blocking these txts as it comes up as ZAMELS, no number. Why Zamels are you sending these nuisance txts, latest Mother's Day 2023, came today Sunday 16 April 2023.Have not been a customer for over 3 years now & with your annoying txts have decided never to shop with you again, i never gave permission for these! NO STARS!"
"Bought a bracelet as a gift and had to take it back to get some of the links removed as it was too big. We were then given an extended care plan card (something we had purchased when purchasing the bracelet). Even the employee when we went into the store that day stated that the care plan card should have been provided at the time of purchase. This just concerns me due to the fact that if we had not gone in to get some of the links removed, would we have even been given the care plan card even though it had already been purchased? What would have happened if we lost our receipt? From there we were also informed that the bracelet was silver filled, not pure gold. We had been told by the sales assistant that the bracelet was pure gold upon purchase. This is another concern as well as disappointing as we had been sold a product under false advertising/pretenses. After handing in the bracelet and later being told it was being sent to Adelaide instead of the local jeweler I received no further communication from Zamels Carousel. I went in after 3 weeks to ask for a update, only to be told they couldn't tell me anything just that my bracelet was not there. When I asked for a rough estimate they told me they couldn't give me one. After a few more weeks I went in again to ask for an update only to be told the exact same thing except that they had sent my bracelet BACK to Adelaide, but if they received it back they would give me a call. After 10 weeks I went in to request a refund as Zamels Carousel had given me no communication, poor customer service and I had to follow up each time. I was also only explained to when I requested the refund that the wait time is roughly 6-8 weeks once the bracelet had been sent off. The lack of communication is unacceptable on the store's part and it has left me not wanting to purchase anything from Zamels in the future. It worries me that if I have any issues with my jewellery that I wish to have repaired or downsized by Zamels that I will receive no communication as well as false advertising. I would also like to note that when I went in to request a refund the assistant manager was rude, spoke over me as well as waved a piece of paper in my face. She also rudely stated in front of other customers that I was not listening to her when I had been, as I was seeking an answer as to how I could receive my refund as this couldn't be done in store. She was extremely dismissive when I asked her why I had received no communication that the bracelet would take 6-8 weeks and she said it was all a misunderstanding on my part. She then referred me to their customer service email and stated that I would be issued my refund after sending them an email. I received an email from customer service today that they put a rush order on my bracelet and I would be notified when the bracelet would be ready. This was after stating multiple times that I wanted a refund. They also stated and I quote "I can only apologise for the length of time that this has taken, as your bracelet should have been sent directly to Head Office at first.". It has been 12 weeks at this point and I have been waiting for 4 links to be removed from a bracelet. I no longer want the bracelet I want a refund but even after communicating this Zamels seems to be unable to help me. They also stated that the sales assistant who sold me the bracelet has been with the company for 13 years so they would never falsely advertise something as pure gold when it is silver filled. I was with my friend and they also heard the sales assistant say the bracelet was pure gold not silver filled. Zamels customer service also pointed out that the receipt said "9YSF" showing that the bracelet was '9ct yellow silver filled'. As far as I was concerned that was a product code, I had no idea what that meant until customer service informed me. After all this drama this is not a gift of happy memories after all the drama that this has caused. We would rather our money back so we can purchase something with more fond memories as well as less drama"
"Wouldn’t even give you a star Dodgy jewellery shop! Bought my engagement from here with in the first month the band snapped took it back they told me it was my fault after MONTHS of arguing they agreed to replace it with a “new one” Not even 2 weeks after a diamond falls out took it back again my fault so then it took over a YEAR through the ACCC to the point I had lawyers involved they still kept saying it was my fault I took the ring to another jeweller who then told me that 8 claws on the diamonds had snapped (in less then 2 weeks) and that gold was not poured properly and the whole ring it’s self was faulty including the design (please note 1 extremely large and 1 family buisness so I had 2 opinions) Took all the proof back and they still kept blaming me once I took the rest of the documents to the lawyers and informed them they finally gave us a refund in total I wore the ring for about 4 weeks at most and the arguing went on for over a year and a half"
