Welcome to Healthy Food Co at Playford! Located at 112 Coventry Road, Smithfield Plains, our establishment is a food and grocery store that aims to provide low-cost nutritional products to the entire community. Since 1996, our dedicated team of volunteers has been serving the Playford community, offering affordable food options for all.

One of our highlights is our Easy Meal kits, designed to feed a family of four for under $14.50 per kit. These kits include a recipe and all the necessary ingredients, making cooking a breeze. With the help of our knowledgeable staff and volunteers, you can easily find the information and products you need to create delicious and healthy meals.

But Healthy Food Co at Playford is not just a grocery store. We also have a strong online presence, with a Facebook page where you can watch videos, discover new recipes, and engage with others in our thriving community. Stay connected with us and be a part of our journey towards a healthier lifestyle!

In Playford, we have two convenient locations. Our Elizabeth Downs store is situated next to the Elizabeth Rise Community Centre, while our Smithfield Plains shop is found within The Precinct. The Smithfield shop also houses The Precinct Cafe, where our volunteers serve up delightful coffee, cake, and lunches. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a tasty treat.

To further enhance your shopping experience, we offer a membership program. For just $10, you can become a Healthy Food Co member and receive reward points. These points can be used as credit for future store purchases, with members receiving a 5% dividend (equivalent to 5c for every $1 spent). You can choose to pay the membership fee upfront or use your bonus points as you earn them. It's a great way to save money while supporting a worthy cause.

Please note that points expire annually at the close of business on the last trading day before Council's Christmas closure, typically between 22-24 December. The expiry date will be advertised in-store one month in advance, as well as on our Facebook page and Council website.

To place an order for our Easy Meal kits, please refer to the Easy Meal Brochure on our website. The brochure provides a comprehensive list of the meals available for order. Once you've made your selection, use the order form accessible through the link provided. Remember, one kit serves four people, so make sure to adjust your order accordingly. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance, and if any changes or cancellations are necessary, please give us a call.

For added convenience, you can also order ahead and collect your order from The John McVeity Centre (JMC) between 5pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 12pm on Saturdays (excluding public holidays). If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us at 8287 4299.
