"Great local pool shop for all your pool needs."
"Pool was installed in 1983. Swim In has been looking after it ever since. Had it resurfaced in 2018. Still like new. Great customer survive. Highly recommend Umar and Swim In O’Connor."
"Omar, owner of Swim-In writes to me" that he is not concerned about Consumer Affairs." Future customer beware of Omar scant regard to consumer guarranties when purchasing from Swim-In. Omar writes to me on how to make a claim under warranty -Information about how to make a claim under the warranty Your first step in claiming is to contact the business that offers the warranty, which is the manufacturer. However, Commsumer Affairs state, "Bussinesses must not tell consumers to take the problem to the manufacture or importer". They also state, "It is unlawful for a bussinesses to mislead consumers about these consumer guarranty rights. "Nothing a bussiness says or does can take away a consumer guarantee." Omar, the owner of Swin-In is responsible for the repair of my Zodiac Saltwater Chlorinator ($800.00) but he refuses to do so. Do not end up like me, do not use Swim-In. I have been waiting over 5 week to have my product to be repaired. He refuses to assist. My Zodiac Saltwater Chlorinator that I purchased from Swim In for $800. is faulty and needs attention. It is 12 months old with a warranty of 24 months. Omar is not aware of his obligations under Australian Consumer law. He continually refers me to a third party, not accepting that it is he, Omar, owner of Swim In who is responsible to repair the chlorinator as per Australian Consumer law, not me to chase up third parties. I reminded him of his obligation and that I will seek the assistance of Consumer Affairs. At the mention of Comsumer affairs Omar become hostile and that he is not scared of Consumer Affairs and is no ones punching bag. We will see how brave Omar is when contacted by Consumer Affairs, that his refusal to assist me may attract a fine. The frustration is that Comsumer Affairs are very busy due to Covid issues and my pool risks turning into a swamp. I am waiting for Omar to do the right thing and repair my Saltwater Chlorinator that cost me $800. I do not recomend Swin In. Thank you for your reply. You then call Omar 6 months later at 6am in the morning yelling abuse at him and then hung up. When Omar called you back you did the same thing. Their are some factual ererors in your claim here Omar. Unless you live in your showroom (place of work) your claim of a 6.00am phone call is a lie. The only contact phone number I have is 9337 9177, your showroom. I do not have your mobile number or home number. Secondly, I do not get out of bed untill 8.30am daily and did not phone you at your home at 6.00am. Your honesty was questioned by Patrick Mulreany, the previous review writer who claims you lied to him. You have lied to me, no 6.00am phone call every took place."
"well after all the good reviews, here is the bad one i ordered a lm3-24 salt cell on the 4th oct 2022 at a cost of $450.00 and was told by lisa that it would be available in 2 days which never happened it took 10 days before i could collect it, the excuse was au post tried to deliver it on friday the 7th oct after 5 pm what a load of cobblers au post tells me they dont deliver after 5pm, all non deliveries are returned to a local pick up point i was lied to and every excuse under the sun was used which was a pack of lies, lies and more lies and after all that waiting it was the wrong cell, it was a much cheaper generic model, sold on the internet for $309.00, and would not fit into the dome without modifications so why was i lied to ? 5 mobile calls and a visit to your shop sat 9th it was the worst service ever and i will never go back there again, swim-in is unprofessional and not worthy of any bodys business be warned people. gladly i was able to pick a genuine cell today sat 15th oct from a pool shop in claremont for $449.00 it took less than 5 mins to install it patrick"
"I had a very specific problem: damaged O-ring on a spa filter. Everywhere I called was can't do this, can't do that, we'll send a technician, will take 3 weeks, 200 bucks, you name it. Swim-In found a part in 10 seconds and charged me 4 bucks for it. Those guys rock !"
