Welcome to Surrey Downs Community Children's Centre, located in the picturesque suburb of Surrey Downs in Australia. Our center is situated on the stunning Illyarrie Reserve, surrounded by beautiful trees and natural play spaces for children to explore, discover, and play.

Established in 1989, Surrey Downs Community Children's Centre operates as a self-managed, community-based organization. Our dedicated and experienced educators provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age, catering to the needs of families in our local community.

At Surrey Downs Community Children's Centre, we pride ourselves on our strong community spirit and meaningful partnerships with families and the wider community. With a focus on natural play, sustainability, and recycling, we aim to instill in the next generation a deep appreciation for the world around them.

In our center, every child is nurtured and educated in a safe and secure environment, both physically and emotionally. We provide excellent staff consistency and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that each child receives individualized attention to help them reach their full potential.

As members of the Community Children's Centres SA association, we have access to support and resources that benefit all community children's centers in South Australia. Our Parent Management Committee, comprised of current parent volunteers, serves as the governing body, with legal, financial, and managerial responsibility for the center.

We are incorporated under the Associations Act 1985, and our activities are guided by a constitution. The day-to-day management and provision of services are delegated to our dedicated Centre Director.
