"Been studying there for almost a year, and everyone is very helpful. Especially the ladies at the reception. Have always solved my issues with admissions, events, classes, etc."
"On 13/07/2023. There were two ladies working in the reception between 1:30pm to 3pm. I went there seeking admission for my son and the receptionists were really harsh and rude. One lady was busy speaking with her boyfriend(maybe) right infront of her monitor. And another one spoke really rude stating that she is very busy right now and said I can leave the premises if I wanted to. We are paying fees and this is the way the college treats the international parents. Curtin university is the best in handling issues and they communicate really well compared to curtin college. This is a shame. Disgusting."
"When comparing with uni students, your basically doing the same unit but a higher price yet you still don't get to use all the facilities which the uni students have. Such as, online lectures."
"Curtin College is the last place to go to get a pathway to university. The College fees are literally 2.5x the amount of normal fees plus the additional fees per unit which adds up to 5k at the end of the year . Do anything but Curtin college . The teaching quality is mid and nothing great about it ."
"Students pay thousands for courses every year. Content is not at all interactive or informative. Lecturers expect you to be professionals already and expect too much from first year students. Students are told to ask for help if needed yet when they actually do ask for help they get a once sentence reply back from lecturers telling them to read whatever on some website and basically figure it out themselves or wait for someone else to send them an email. Poor teaching, lecturers have a lack of understanding toward students, poor management and severe lack of facilities. Most classes are taught off of a boring PowerPoint presentation."
