As the Mawson Lakes community and surrounding areas continue to grow, we are committed to meeting the evolving health needs of our patients. In the next ten years, we have plans to expand our practice and specialist services available at the Mawson Lakes Specialist Center. Additionally, we aim to increase our patient base by offering extended opening hours and a greater number of practitioners.

To make accessing our services as easy as possible, we now offer online booking for appointments with any of our doctors. Simply visit our website to schedule your appointment. However, if you have recently returned from one of the countries listed on the Australian Government Website, particularly China, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea, or Mongolia, we kindly request that you contact reception or visit an Emergency Department/Hospital Clinic before making a booking or visiting our practice.

Please note that walk-in appointments are currently not available. In order to prioritize the safety of our patients and promote public health and social isolation, we offer telephonic consultations, especially for respiratory complaints and COVID-19 related questions or checks. We are proud to announce that we are a COVID-19 vaccination provider. Mawson Lakes Medical Centre is approved to administer COVID-19 vaccines and is committed to helping our local area and wider community with COVID-19 immunization. To determine your eligibility for the vaccine, please visit https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker. Please note that appointments for COVID-19 vaccination can only be made by calling our front staff and practice nurse at 83595133. Due to limited availability of the vaccines, it is important to make an appointment directly with the clinic to ensure stock availability. Online appointments cannot be made for COVID-19 vaccination.

Starting from September 1st, 2022, there will be a GAP payable for consultations at our center. The fee is $20 on weekdays, and the GAP may vary on weekends, public holidays, and after-hours. However, all patients under 16 years of age, pension card holders, and healthcare card holders will be bulk billed with no GAP for the consultation. Please note that procedure fees and treatment room charges may still apply.

We kindly request that if you are unable to keep your appointment, please inform us at least 6 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patients who require urgent medical attention. Failure to attend a booked appointment without prior notice will result in a DNA fee of $40. Please note that procedural fees are payable on the day of the procedure and may vary depending on the duration and complexity of the procedure. For exact charges, please consult with your doctor. Treatment room charges apply for procedures such as dressings, ear syringing, Implanon insertion/removal, etc. For specific amounts, please inquire with our front desk staff or your doctor.
