"The worst place ever...? I had to stay here for 3 months because I lost my job during covid 19 and simply could not afford my private rental anymore. This place houses ex cons,Drunks, drug addicts, and pretty much every walk of life you just don't want to interact with. The owner came into money and bailed overseas as he met a phillapeno? In saying that all the money gets sent to the phillapines. They have a virtual assistant via a computer screen and you can't even communicate efficiently. This place just takes advantage of desperate and down trodden people down on their luck. They will take your money one day, then make a complaint, out on the street the next. Theres a parasite occasionally behind the counter at times that is rude, indolent, abrasive and generally lacking any form of empathy or understanding. I have lodged a complaint to ASIC. The only next thing I can do do is warn people and strike a match."

"I would say this place is not really a backpackers, more like a homeless shelter. I wouldn't recommend staying here, the people living here keep you on edge. The room was OK, the rest of the place was dodgy and gross."

"The beds are nice, otherwise it's breaking apart unfortunately. The kitchen especially has damaged and is dirty to the point you have to reconsider whether to cook or get take away. 2 of the bathrooms had no soap over a period of a week and the washing sponge in the kitchen doesn't get changed until you mention staff. Staff is nice and there was some food offered for free like some veggies and bread (the bread was high quality, which was much appreciated as an unemployed backpacker) the rooms are accessible through the living are which can get noisy on the weekends since there's no staff around layer in the evening."

"I booked months ago. A month before I was due to check in, they told me they were overbooked and cancelled my booking. Oddly, they still have rooms available on the website. I have asked about this, but they don't reply to emails. Adelaide is extremely busy the night I will be there, with prices through the roof. Draw your own conclusions as to whether they're trying to get more for the room than they had charged me."

"Below average. There isn’t an actual receptionist, just a lady on a Skype screen who does all the check ins and outs. There was only 2 toilets/showers in the whole building which just wasn’t enough and they were pretty dirty. Rooms weren’t awful however 2 charging ports for 8 people wasn’t ideal. Didn’t feel particularly safe either. If it was cheaper than $80 a night (which I paid) I probably wouldn’t be writing a negative review, but absolutely not worth $80. The only upside was the people I met here."
