“Wow. The apartment is exceptional. Excellent quality furnishings. The bed was super comfortable, the decor was very tasteful and the kitchen was well equipped! The highlight of this apartment, of course, was the view. We arrived when it was cloudy, windy and rainy - the view was gorgeous then (think dramatic waves). On sunny clear days, the view was magical. We were lucky to see dolphins play. The location is perfect (a car is a must). While there are amazing eateries nearby, we loved cooking dinner at home to watch the amazing sunset over the water. 10/10.”

“Our three-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu, Alfie, was hit by a car a few weeks ago and we took him straight to Pet Universe Northgate as the closest vet. They were so caring, calm and efficient with saving Alfie’s life. They had to transfer us to SASH for overnight care and we decided to do his surgeries there to avoid unnecessary transport, however have gone for follow ups several times to Pet Universe at both Northgate and Broadview since surgery as issues keep coming up with Alfie’s recovery. Everyone has been so helpful and kind and they all clearly care about Alfie. Prior to this accident, we have always gone to another vet, however after experiencing the personalised care and thoughtfulness from all the staff at Pet Universe, we will never be going anywhere else.”

“We came to this pub as it advertised caravan parking attached for overnight stay. We arrived at 5pm and entered to a great atmosphere of locals & travellers. Meals are plentiful and tasty. Would recommend to anyone passing through”

“Love this place so much. The food is delicious, mains maybe a little higher $ than some places, but if you're not really hungry the entree sizes are generous (all I had) The decor is SO good, a real buzz. A birthday gathering of 10, I thought they were seating us in the dining area, but instead we were seated in one of the big booths 'outside' , which turned out to be just perfect, cosy and intimate. The staff were friendly and very easy going (we were sat there for about 2 hours, and they didn't mind) Highly recommend, especially for a special event treat. They seem to have some really busy family days, so if you'd like things quieter then it pays to check with management first when booking ( I avoided 2 dates). There's lots of room though, so still probably not too crowded when busier”

“Port Admiral has recently reopened and have new management. A completely gluten-free menu with plenty of DFO and Vegan options. New beers on tap and spirits so there's something new for everyone to try, along with a couple of classics (Cooper's, west end, etc). I ordered a mushroom burger - plenty of roast veggies and tasted stunning. They did forget the cheese which was a little disappointing, but I'll mark it down to teething issues. Bun was soft, tasty, and fluffy. - $24 Arancini balls were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Can't go wrong! - $18 Parmi was a little small for pricing but I understand that it's also a specialist crumb. The chicken was thick and moist, and the cheese melted perfectly but I found the tomato sauce was sweet to taste (maybe a lot of tomato paste?)- $27 Chips were a definite favourite of mine and reminded me of a classic fish & chip store. The service was impeccable and everyone was absolutely lovely! Looking forward to see what they do next and how they will navigate the Port Adelaide market!”

“I would like to thank the staff of the Largs Pier Hotel for their outstanding service and the quality of the lunch which was served today to 47 Seacliff Silver Salties. Every comment was positive and the food was delicious, well priced and served quickly and was hot. The desserts were magnificent as were the Affogatos and coffees. The drinks were well priced and the private room was fantastic for our group. We will definitely all visit again.”

The ordering process was quick and straightforward, meals came out quickly and were delicious. We have already booked in our dinner for the same event for this time next year. “Great service and staff were great, don't let the front of the pub fool you as it was really nice inside. If you want a bit of a flutter before eating you can through some coin into the pokies to see if you can double up on the time spent! Yes it has a smokers area out the side of the premises and you can strike up a conversation with the locals.”

“It was comfortable and quiet in the hotel rooms area. Aside from a few emergency vehicles I couldn't hear anything in my room. I got the most basic room option at a great price but it was still well thought out, warm (in winter, with an air conditioner), and very easy to access from the first floor (although you have to be able to climb stairs).”

Cleaning staff are a wonderful crew who make every effort to ensure you have clean towels and they give ya extra cookies for morning coffee. The restaurant is closed but can still get room service, and OMG the food is so yummy! I thought my pumpkin soup was good..but theirs is out of this world!! Big serving size as well ..highly recommend”
