Welcome to the Confucius Institute at The University of Western Australia, located in the picturesque Town of Claremont, Perth. As an establishment and point of interest, our institute is dedicated to teaching the Chinese language and providing cultural training to promote mutual understanding and celebrate the value of multiculturalism.

Established in 2005, we were the first Confucius Institute in Australia and are proud to be part of a global network of 500 sister institutes across 138 nations. Our team of both Chinese and local staff work collaboratively to bridge the gap between Western Australians and the Chinese language, culture, and people.
