Our journey started in the early 1990s when a group of ten diverse Western Australian Jewellers came together to form a Networking Group. With the support of the WA Government, Koro successfully participated in several overseas Trade Missions, showcasing the innovative skills and unique creativity of Western Australian jewelers. This led to international recognition for our skills, talent, and creativity, as well as the uniqueness of our products made from Australia's precious raw materials.

Today, Michael and Werner Dieckmann continue to honor Koro's original ideas and principles as the Directors of our institution. We understand that jewelry purchases are often made during important moments in one's life and are meant to create lasting memories. That's why we combine traditional skills with the latest technology to design original and creative jewelry crafted and finished in our own Perth workshop.

Both Michael and Werner have a family history of craftsmanship and are qualified goldsmiths in the traditional European sense. They were trained in Germany by the old masters and carry on a tradition of excellence today. Their craftsmanship is a testament to their refined skills and experience, which they pass on to the next generation.
