About the Business
Welcome to Brookside Medical Centre, located at 981 Wanneroo Road in Wanneroo, Australia. As a leading institution in healthcare, we offer a range of services and strive to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Established in 2016 by two doctors, Brookside Medical Centre has grown significantly and now consists of ten doctors, along with a dedicated team of Allied Health professionals including a Psychologist, Physiotherapist, and Podiatrist. We also offer shared care appointments with a midwife and will soon be joined by a dietician to further enhance our services.
At Brookside Medical Centre, we prioritize continuity of care, believing that it directly contributes to better health outcomes and the prevention of lifestyle-associated illnesses. Our team of doctors has diverse areas of expertise, ensuring that we can cater to the medical needs of families and individuals of all ages. Collaborating with each other, our doctors provide a high standard of care and are committed to ongoing professional development.
As a training practice, we welcome medical students from the University of Western Australia and actively participate in the training of future General Practitioners. This commitment to education ensures that our doctors stay at the forefront of medical advancements and provide the best care possible.
Our services encompass various aspects of healthcare, including chronic disease management, childhood immunizations (available free of charge to Medicare card holders), women's health, mental health, and vaccinations for diseases such as Yellow fever and malaria. We also offer skin and mole checks for early detection of skin cancers, utilizing the expertise of Dr. Khanna, who has undergone additional training in this area.
At Brookside Medical Centre, we pride ourselves on providing excellent care and service. Our friendly staff, experienced doctors, and state-of-the-art facilities ensure that you receive nothing short of the best healthcare experience. We value our patients and strive to accommodate their needs, offering same-day appointments and welcoming new patients.
We are proud to acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners and Elders of this country, recognizing the significance of their cultural heritage, values, and beliefs. We also welcome and celebrate the diversity of people's bodies, genders, sexualities, and relationships, ensuring that all members of the LGBTIQ communities feel valued and supported.
Please note that starting from November 17th, 2022, Brookside Medical Centre will be moving to mixed billing. Rising costs of staff wages, medical supplies, insurances, and utilities, coupled with inadequate Medicare rebates, have made it financially unsustainable to continue bulk billing all of our patients. This transition allows us to attract and retain the best General Practitioners and maintain a high-quality service for our patients.
We would like to express our gratitude for your understanding and assure you that we remain committed to providing excellent medical care for many years to come. Thank you for choosing Brookside Medical Centre as your healthcare provider.

"We just visited the hospital for my newborn 6 week check and vaccination and we had really bad experience with Nurse, she was rude to us and after vaccination she didn’t check the injection site properly and it was bleeding from the site, when she noticed that she didn’t even change the bandage until we had to ask her for another bandage. I think she was getting late to finish the shift because we had the last appointment with doctor."
"I had to WAIT 3.5 HOURS for a 5 minute appointment. I booked online for an 11:20am TeleHealth appointment. Dr Anoopam Moar did not call me until 3:05pm. Incredibly disappointed as they did not even send out any courtesy message to tell me that the doctor is running behind. I called reception a few times to ask if the appointment is still on, and if they could please let me know around what time I should be expecting her call. They said they couldn't tell me, and left it at that. I have been feeling so unwell and wanted to take a nap but couldn't since I didn't want to miss my appointment. It was a really unpleasant experience and there was a lack of respect towards patients."
"Booked in for today at 430pm Left job earlier just for this end up doctor went homs early. Was told they tried to ring back . We did as well no one answered Very disappointed as we are first time patient to be Your patient was sick thats why tried to book in. It is yout responsibility to ensure you reached out to your patients successfully And update your online booking!"
"I brought my newborn in for his first checkup and immunisations and all of the reception staff and nurses were so friendly, professional and helpful. Dr Green and the nurses were so attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, informative and caring towards both myself and my son. A huge thanks to all the team, couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience as a nervous first time mum."
