At Salsa Rossa, our passion lies in serving simple yet delicious Italian cuisine. We pride ourselves on being a produce-driven restaurant, sourcing the highest quality ingredients from local markets. Established in 2018, Salsa Rossa is the sister restaurant to Limones. This move has allowed us to continue providing our patrons with the same exceptional dining experience they have come to love.
We invite you to explore our menu, which features mouthwatering dishes such as blue swimmer crab with capellini and chilli tomato sugo, grilled Fremantle octopus with lemon and oregano, and beef carpaccio with baby capers, shallots, parmesan, and truffle oil. For those seeking heartier options, our confit duck with grilled sweetcorn and bok choy, or our Harvey beef scotch fillet with duck fat potatoes and broccolini are sure to satisfy your cravings. And for dessert, our vanilla panna cotta with raspberry coulis and fresh berries is the perfect sweet treat to end your meal.
Join us at Salsa Rossa for a dining experience that combines great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service. We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant and sharing our love for Italian cuisine with you. Copyright 2019 Salsa Rossa | Site by HARBY.STUDIOS.

"This place is a hidden gem, place was quiet tonight, the two ladies hosting did a superb job , food was amazing, the confit duck was up there with the best , all dishes were of superb quality. Great family friendly dining. Wine prices are very reasonable and a good variety"
"I have not written a review on any Restaurant previously. However the food at Salsa Rossa was the worst I have eaten. We were a table of four and all ordered the sirloin steak at $39 each. It was grissly and inedible. When we complained very calmly to the waitress she just stared at us. No apology. The staff and management couldn’t have cared less. Do not go to this restaurant unless you want to get ripped off. An absolute disgrace."
"This restaurant goes back decades - Shannon, the present owner, is a great chef. In winter there's a blazing log fire in the central room, to keep patrons warm - and in summer months, patrons spill out onto the footpath, or the terrace area at the rear of the restaurant, to enjoy the fresh air with their meal. The restaurant provides an interesting selection of seafoods, italian dishes, australian, sides and desserts. With plenty of interesting wines and beers, or sparkling or flat water, and other beverages. Great place to dine, or take your friends for a meal. I'll add some more photos later."
"So it started off as a 3 star because the service was a bit awkward.. and although the place was not busy, we were seated next to a group of four who were quite loud and a bit obnoxious. It really ruined the atmosphere as it was hard to maintain conversation. There was also a solid wait between the first and second courses. We were ready to skip dessert, but then the table next to us finally exited, and I were then able to have a better time. Honestly, the patronage completely changed the vibe of the establishment. We then ordered dessert, which was quite delicious, and left fulfilled. I do suggest you give the place a once over with a duster as there were cobwebs hanging by the door. And online the menu states $70 for 3 courses but it was actually $75."
"OMG, one of our favourite restaurants at the moment. $70 for 3 courses, amazing value. Great selection of beers and wine by the glass. Deserts to die for ( Valrhona chocolate and raspberry )"
