"I visited Amart in early April to purchase a bed frame. The staff confirmed that the item was in stock in their warehouse, and according to the receipt, it would be delivered within 1-2 weeks. However, it is now June, several weeks have passed, and despite paying for the bed frame upfront, I still haven't received the product. I have been sleeping on the floor with no confirmation of whether the bed is on its way or not. When I contacted one of the sales representatives at Joondalup, she informed me that due to their products coming from China, they couldn't provide a specific delivery date and asked me to wait until the end of the month. This is very disappointing and having expressed my obvious dissatisfaction with their service, I inquired about any form of voucher, or discount on future purchase for the poor service I received. In response, the sales representative stated that my complaint would be forwarded to their legal department.. I'm yet to understand what their legal department is meant to do with this considering they have already received my payment but haven't fulfilled their part of the transaction?? As a customer who has spent a significant amount of money on new furniture at Amart, I immediately requested a refund and made it clear that I will never return to their store."

"I bought a mattress earlier this year at a price suitable for someone on an age pension. It’s been built with a steel Rod frame around it which hurts your hands when you tuck sheets in. Quite unusual, I’ve never encountered a mattress built quite like it. Also the springs move around and make a noise of “sproing” when you sit on it or roll over. Quite disconcerting in the middle of the night but, I guess I got what I paid for. Delivery drivers are lazy, they wouldn’t take back all that plastic mattresses come wrapped in. I’d complain to store management but, that’s a waste of time as I tried to get them to ring back on this and another issue but, an email and a phone call haven’t resulted in a return call to me. Just my bad luck, I guess. I’ve been a Customer since they first opened, I’ve bought lots of stuff there. I’ll try Hardly Normal next time."

"Damian was an awesome bloke to deal with. We'd previously scouted the items we wanted the day before and going back in and making the purchases he walked us through everything from quality to delivery, he was even able to take payment right on the shop floor. The store itself is very large and well stocked with display items that anyone should have no issue finding what they're looking for. There is a wait on some items (5-8 weeks) which sounds like it is normal but the staff do give you ample warning. Overall happy we came in and happy with our purchases."
