"Excellent service on two occasions. Needed a new pair of boots/shoes/sandals. Had a reasonably good idea what I wanted but struggled with sizing. Friendly, accomodating and great rapport. Both sales assistants very helpful and assisted with sizing and style. I didn't quite catch the the name of the first sales assistant but Christine helped me on the second occasion. My compliments to them both. Ended up purchasing a new pair of DM Chelsea's for work. Just need to check that the 'up' arrow works on the DDR machine. :) Wished retail service was this good everywhere."
"I had the most disappointing experience today. I was visiting Perth and thought of buying some shoe as it got good variety but then I tried a shoe and asked my server to pack it for me. As I was in rush I dint check the shoes condition properly . But then I reached home and realised it was so filthy on the inside soul and outside bottom little dusty . I don’t usually care if a little dusty on bottom as it’s shoes but the total condition was unacceptable so I made My way back to shop which was 40 min drive for me to show it and ask for new piece instead of given a solution the lady said it’s a wear and tear i can’t provide you with any solution unless you want to go online and sell it . I got it for 180 dollar. It was such a shame and it felt a bit cheated as I have never experienced this in any situation and when I asked for the manager she mentioned she is the manger and there was nothing coming out of there . And I was forced to take back the shoes which I dint even wore once after I left from the shop. It was shocking firstly that they did the mistake ,Instead of solving the issue , I felt blamed and ofcourse I am going to take it forward as I was being really reasonable, it wasn’t like I asked for refund and all I asked was I need a fresh piece. But she kept saying wear and tear even though she is the one who gave me that piece and obviously she hasn’t checked it and just to cover themselves up put the blame on the customer, I said to her may be check ur camera ,have a little guess of how it was dusty . Such a shame to come to a franchise and waste of my money and time. And also i have to go back to Sydney tomorrow as I told her may be let me talk to someone in higher authority or customer number for head office but nah just a email was given and shoes was in horrible Condition . I was being upfront and honest for what happened and how it was handled was wrong blame and on top of that told me to sell it online. Such a shame."
"I was served by D and Elaina and they were both super helpful. I’m quite fussy when buying shoes at a higher price point as most typical sneakers are too wide and deep for my feet and are too large around the ankle. I’m also very indecisive as I don’t want to go home thinking I’ve made the wrong decision. They were both super patient with me and gave me product suggestions when needed. They also didn’t push me too hard to make a decision or force me to choose something. D was also very entertaining in the store. I think both of them are a good mix together and I had a great experience considering some of the other stores I went into that day."
"Most unprofessional shoe store I’ve ever been to. The place has the vibe of a year six disco, filled with staff either talking amongst themselves or looking at themselves in the mirror. The staff should learn the basics of greeting customers. Customers aren’t their “bros”. Just say “hi” or “hello”. Where’s the Universal store at these days too? That was a far better shoe buying experience."
"Lots of competition outside the door however I really liked the contour the design and layout of the venue. A medium size retail with lots of merchandise nicely organised. I especially loved the toddlers boots which I brought at a reasonable price. The staff were helpful in providing information in terms of the boots I wanted to purchase. He recommended to buy a size bigger and on that I purchased. I give Platypus a 4star rating for service and a well organise venue."
