"First time here for a coffee, customer service non existent, ordered coffee through self ordering screen, waited for coffee, young girl yelled out “30” as she placed the coffee on the counter and walked away. No eye contact no thank you, waited at counter to ask for a sugar when she returned, rolled her eyes as she walked away to grab me a sugar. Sat down to drink the coffee and as I thought it felt a little light when I lifted the lid to add the sugar the cup was only just above half full. Very disappointed !!!! Obviously the young lady that served me the coffee didn’t want to be there and probably should not have been there this morning. To the franchisee I really understand it’s hard to motivate young people but maybe have a chat with your front line and best of luck."
"So disappointing. I ordered an amended burger in a meal for table service. I'm sitting for ages waiting, so I go up and my meal is in a bag on the counter waiting. The girl (who served me) said here's your order. I said you're not bringing it out? Got no reply or apologies I took the bag, went to the table and the chips were cold. Took them back aand saw same girl as before, said they were cold, I got another fries, but zero apologies. Went back to table, took a bite of the burger and they managed to get the changes wrong. Not surprising, based on previous encounter. I gave up and then thought a review would be in order. Mcdonalds management, hire older staff, and attend to staff training better. This is atrocious."
"Decided to embark on a culinary adventure at McDonald's Clontarf, and oh boy, what an experience! I ordered a simple quarter pounder, but it seemed like it had been aged longer than a vampire's birthday cake. I took one bite and my taste buds screamed for mercy, begging me not to subject them to such a horror show. I couldn't help but wonder if the young staff were secretly auditioning for a prank TV show, expecting me to munch on something that should've been preserved in a museum. In an attempt to seek justice for my betrayed taste buds, I rang the store for an explanation, but alas, no one answered. It's almost as if they were playing hide-and-seek with my complaints. Well, fear not, dear McDonald's Clontarf, for I shall grace your establishment tomorrow to claim my replacement!"
"Went through the drive thru late Saturday night and had my order missing fries and 1 chicken nugget. However the nuggets were also the wrong type of nugget. However when I went back through the drive through I got dirty looks for staff after I explained they had missed items and also gave me the wrong things. After waiting and parking for an addition 15 minutes waiting for the corrected items (meanwhile all my other food was cold and greasy) I got no compensation or a sorry from the staff. To add I was very reasonable with my approach and I also didn’t expect anything in return however I feel like this was pushing my forgiving nature to the point where I deserved compensation for the odd 30 dollar order that was missing items and now cold. Fast food industries are hard to work in. I get that but it’s pretty expensive nowadays. So I expect people to at least get the bare minimum right for a premium price."
"19/02/23. Chips were hard. Chicken nuggets weren’t cooked properly. Called out the order number . Walks off. A fly landed on the outside of the order. I know they get busy. But hey just take some pride in your guys work."
