"The Harmony Centre is easy to access and a calm and tranquil environment with quality Psychologists"
"I have been attending here for over a year now. I came with the expectation of managing my distress, but I now know that healing and recovery is possible, because with the help of Brisbane Harmony Centre I am experiencing it myself. The psychologists here are all highly skilled and very experienced. I have always been treated with warmth, respect, and compassion. The rooms are beautiful, and relaxing. Client feedback is considered and responded to which shows values listed on their website are more than just nice words, they're actually something the team here live and work by. An example of this is the clock in one of the rooms was changed after a few clients mentioned that it ticked too loudly. Profound growth happens here. If you can get an appointment you will be in safe hands (they're often booked up because they're that good!)."
"Refused me services as my physical disability is an inconvenience to them. I requested to speak directly to the people making decisions to refuse me services as I was only allowed to communicate through an admin messenger. Instead of allowing any dialogue to actually clarify the false assumptions they have made such as my wheelchair will take up too much space in their waiting room, or that I might drop dead in their clinic they instead sent me a letter again through their admin person reiterating that they won't treat me due to false assumptions about my disability. I have been treated as nothing but a liability and a burden and discriminated against due to physical disability in an appalling way by a psychology team that I would have hoped would have understood the emotional impact this sort of treatment would have on someone."
