"Receptionist is so rude. Turns you off completely and the huge late fees if you cancel with 24 hrs notice. Phyciatrist was great though but if something comes up 24 hours in advance they don’t care makes it stressful and worth paying a $86 fee if you cancel with 24 hours notice need 2 days apparently no matter what will say again the dr was helpful but receptionist rude like the other comments I’ve read on here!"

"I found the receptionist with short, dark brown hair quite rude. I only came to the clinic twice, but each time felt belittled by her, as she was very abrupt and uncaring. I believe the receptionist staff of a mental health centre for help should have compassionate, warm, and patient staff as their forefront. I however found none of these attributes with this receptionist. Each time i dealt with her, i left feeling so depressed and down on myself, it made me want to give up on seeking help, which i so desperately needed. As a result of this, i have stopped going to the clinic, as i feel she impacted my mental health journey to seek help (which is already a difficult task in itself) very negatively. I don't believe she should be working in this field, as it's hard enough for mentally ill people to seek help, but then to be treated poorly... can put you into regression before even starting to get help. Please do not reply with any harsh comments, as i do not wish to further be impacted negatively by this clinic. Your's sincerely, Shirin"

"I love my psychologist Caroline Binns! She is an absolutely wonderful psychologist that is helped me in so many ways. The only complaint I have is the cancellation fee. If you do not call up two days beforehand you get slammed with a hefty $86 fee to pay. To be honest I find this utterly stressful which is not helping me mentally. I'm a paraplegic using a power chair suffering from chronic pain. I asked to be exempt from the cancellation fees due to my power chair not supposed to be in the rain. The most I got was if it is raining in the morning I can call up. What happens if it starts out a sunny day but an hour beforehand or two it starts to rain? What happens when I do call back 2 days beforehand and I get the answering machine during business hours? What happens if I'm in so much pain I can barely move on the day? Honestly I think that this is a quick way to lose clients because life is unpredictable and you can't tell what is going to happen on that day. You may be able to plan things, but things don't always go to plan. Please be reasonable and understand that sometimes we can't control everything that happens. The cancellation fee will make you lose patients."

"Deanne is a lovely and helpful person to talk to but I called up today letting them know that I could not make my 2 o'clock appointment this afternoon as my Grandmother died and her funeral is at the same time. Yes, it skipped my mind and I was aware of the fact that there was a cancellation fee (obviously I have more pressing matters at the moment, looking after 4 foster kids and my own son while my Father & Step Mum have time to organise/ grieve) but, when I told the receptionist I was in Esk and could not make it, without any compassion or sympathy she said "right well you will have to pay $80 for your next appointment". Thanks a lot OGI... never going back."
