We cater to clients of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults. Our strength-based and trauma-informed approach ensures that therapy is tailored to meet you where you are in your therapeutic journey. Depending on your specific needs, we offer a range of therapeutic interventions to support your mental health and well-being.

At Psych'd, we are passionate about addressing a wide range of issues. Our services include behavioural support and intervention, school-related challenges, anxiety and depression management, mental health support, parenting guidance, perinatal care, attachment and bonding, navigating life changes and challenges, ASD and neurodivergent support, child safety advocacy, domestic violence support, and trauma psychotherapy.

We welcome private clients, individuals with NDIS plans, as well as those with Private Health and EPA coverage. Our Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Lindsey, brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to Psych'd. With a Diploma in Business, Graduate Certificates in Forensic Psychology and Counselling, a Master's in Counselling, and memberships in professional associations, Lindsey is dedicated to serving the North Brisbane community.

Lindsey has spent over 20 years working in various roles within the industry, including homelessness, juvenile justice, child protection, family support, behavioural intervention, and support for children, teenagers, and young parents. Lindsey is also a qualified practitioner of the Circle of Security attachment and Hanen's You Make the Difference programs.

At Psych'd, we believe that while life may bring unexpected surprises, we have the power to control how we respond to them. Our counselling sessions provide a safe space for adults, children, and teenagers to openly express themselves and receive active listening, acknowledgement, and compassionate therapy. Through our guidance, we aim to assist and guide you through your thoughts, feelings, and behavioral responses.

Our adult counselling sessions offer support, guidance, understanding, empathy, and compassion for individuals facing various circumstances. Each session is client-focused and client-driven, allowing you to maintain personal control over the issues discussed and the pace that suits your needs.

Children and teenagers may face challenges in expressing themselves or explaining their worries, fears, and anxieties. This can manifest in challenging behavior, thoughts, and feelings. Additionally, some may have complex needs, disabilities, or disorders such as ASD, ADHD, or ODD, or may have experienced trauma, family separation, grief and loss, stress, depression, or bullying. At Psych'd, we provide additional support and therapeutic intervention to help them navigate these difficulties.

As a registered NDIS provider, Psych'd accepts all NDIS plans, and Health Fund rebates may be available (please check with your individual provider). Please note that we do not require health care plans as we charge a gap fee for consultations, which cannot be claimed under Medicare.
