"Firstly you would be impressed with the timeless fitout, then you love how attentive and knowledgeable of the staff. Variety of choices on the menu to choose, delicious and unique. Wine lover will definitely appreciate their wine list. Little did we know that we were about to eat the best beef Wellington ever! Tender and juicy beef with buttery pastry topped with red wine sauce. Absolutely worth to wait for 45mins!"
"Exquisite dinner at Rothwells. The decor and presentation is very classy. Beautiful chandeliers complimented by table lamps creating a great atmosphere. Food was superb, I had steak tatare, kingfish, and the beef Wellington, their signature dish. Service was excellent. 5 stars all round."
"I have found the BEST BURGER in Brisbane and it is made by classically trained professional chefs from a fine dining restaurant. I would be shocked if it wasn't. In my endless search for the best burger in Brisbane, it lead my here. Famous for their classic dishes like Beef Wellington, I saw this burger on the socials and just had to make a visit. This burger is worth travelling across town for. Simple with just pickles, cheese and sauce, it was perfectly cooked medium as you can tell by the picture. I could do with it medium rare, but for most people that would freak them out, so med is fine. And it wasn't a "smash" style burger like every other place in Brisbane. Another tick in my book. What the picture doesn't show is that the burger was served on a HOT plate. Thank you!!! Chefs of Brisbane take note, especially all the ones on James St. Remember kids, "Hot food needs to be served on a HOT plate". Service, even at the bar was great. Friendly and informative at the same time. So stop reading this and get yourself to Rothwell's for the BEST BURGER in Brisbane!!!"
"I don't usually enjoy steak, but the Wagyu steak here has totally changed my opinion. The lobster pasta was pretty good too, but a little on the salty side. Enjoyed the Eaton Mess. Very cool, moody atmosphere and the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back."
