Reviews of North Gorge Walk
"Absolutely gorgeous view. I have never seen the water as pretty as I have on straddy. Definitely recommend the walk, lots of steps but such great views, lots of seats along the way."
"A 1.2 walk along a man built walkway. Experience the wild life, the sea, whales, dolphins and natural beauty."
"The North Gorge Walk on North Stradbroke Island, Australia, is highly recommended for nature enthusiasts and ones who love picturesque natural scenery. This scenic trail offers stunning ocean views, rare opportunities to spot dolphins, sea turtles, migrating whales depending on each season and high chance to see wild kangaroos filling their stomach with grass. Moreover, the most noticeable is the crashing waves against rocky cliffs which create a mesmerizing spectacle. The walk is accessible to all fitness levels and features informative signage. I arrived on Saturday but it didn't seem not too crowded for me, however, it is recommended that you should visit on weekdays or early mornings to avoid crowds. There is no protection at some points especially the cliffs as well, so be careful. Lastly, North Gorge Walk delivers a captivating coastal adventure that immerses you in the beauty of nature."
"Beautiful walk around the headland overlooking some stunning scenery. Easy stroll not hard pathways secure, can venture out to several areas that you can see the ocean closer. Bus from the jetty to the order easy."
"North Gorge Walk is an epic experience. Start at the shops and take the 1.2km walk. Wallabies and Kangaroos highlight your journey, with dolphins and whales just a couple of hundred metres away. You can walk down onto the rocky areas and the view of North Gorge is stunning. Look out for turtles and admire the sunrise if up that early. This walk also takes in Main Beach views"
