"Lovely sceenery and open areas by the sea. Natural mangroves and steps to slip in for a swim. Ample facilities including BBQ’s shelters and tables play and adventure equipment walking paths and toilets near by."
"What a brilliant place, the the old sculpture climbing thing has been there for a very very long time. It is around the corner from the more popular park area and subsequently less busy. This also leads to less facilities but does the job."
"I frequently walk along Lota reserve, to enjoy the fresh air at this time of year and the sun during early morning or late afternoon. The path is wide and there are shaded trees beside the path. The walk takes you past the Lota fish and chips shops, and there are table's and chairs along the way."
"A smaller park than Box Head Park just to the north. It has one or two covered seating areas and gas BBQ's. It does not have any toilet facilities. Good views of the Moreton Bay. Parking is available alongside the Esplanade."
"Absolutely beautiful park, fantastic place to bring your dog with its enclosed off leash area. It has a children's playground and basketball court. It's a very spacious park setting with plenty of room to through a frisbee or fly a kite. There's a nice board walk about a 5 minute walk up whites road that takes you into Chelsea road. The park has undercover seating as well as a barbecue perfect for picnics and there is a water fountain incase you get thirsty. I forgot to mention that there are plenty of shady trees that you can sit under to escape the h eat of the day."
