Nudgee Beach Canoe Kayak Landing Car Park
About the Business
Welcome to the Nudgee Beach Canoe Kayak Landing Car Park, a public river and recreation hub located at Fortitude Street in Australia. As an establishment, point of interest, and tourist attraction, our institution offers a variety of amenities for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
At our institution, you will find boat ramps, canoe ramps, and pontoons along the picturesque Brisbane River. These facilities are specifically designed for recreational use, accommodating a range of vessels such as kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, and motorized recreational boats. It is important to note that the load limit for Council boat ramps is five tonnes, ensuring the safety and convenience of all users.
We are proud to announce that the repairs to the Tinchi Tamba boat ramp pontoon have been completed, making it more flood resilient and open to the public. Additionally, early works for the Jindalee, River Hills, Centenary, and Amazon Place pontoons will be undertaken from late August 2023, enhancing our facilities even further.
To make your experience seamless, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the vessel weight and size capacity of each hub before use, as these capacities may vary. For more detailed information on the different river and recreation hubs available, please visit our River Access Network page.
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all users, Council has erected signage throughout the area to promote safe on-water conduct. We kindly request that you adhere to these guidelines for a pleasant and secure experience.
To find a specific public river or recreation hub, boat ramp, canoe ramp, or pontoon, you can easily use our interactive map and search options. Simply select the desired icon and click on the hyperlink to find out if the facility is open or closed. If you prefer a different format, you can also view the information in a table or list format.
Please note that some of our pontoons may be temporarily offline and awaiting repairs. For more information on these terminals and the timing of the repairs, we recommend visiting the pontoon and river access point repairs page.
Council takes pride in promoting responsible and respectful use of the Brisbane River. Therefore, we encourage all users to familiarize themselves with the Brisbane River Code of Conduct, which provides essential information on how to safely enjoy the river. You can download this guide from the Queensland Government Maritime Safety Queensland website.
Lastly, we invite you to explore our photo gallery showcasing the public boat ramps, canoe ramps, and pontoons. You can enjoy these stunning visuals as a slideshow or view them individually on Council's Flickr account.
As we welcome you to Nudgee Beach Canoe Kayak Landing Car Park, we would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of this Country. We honor the Elders, both past and present, and those who will shape the future.

"It doesn't have actual beach most of the time but when it is falling tide there is a beach and you can walk far into the sea. You can see mangrove trees. There is a walk way to the forest and you can walk with your dog. its also a children park. You can go in the evening and may stay in your car and feel the nature and sea. The toilets are locked after the evening!!"
