"Great place to unwind and relax, within walking distance of a running creek and camper trailer sites. 2km to Rocky Hole and you go past the Gantry to get there. Male toilets were clean"
"If you have a 2WD - it's possible to get in. The drive from the Gantry is bumpy, so 40km per hour is the maximum speed you can go. Very tidy camping, clean toilet, fire pit in each site. Plenty of wildlife."
"Lovely quiet spot to camp. We were there during the week. Creek was quite dry even during the rainy season in summer. Toilets are sufficient, but no showers. Taps with non portable water are available around the sites. Sites are numbered and need to be booked beforehand. Trees are very tall so it blocks out a lot of the harsh sun. Rain makes the place bit muddy but overall very enjoyable. Keep your food and rubbish out of sight when you can. Bush turkeys and possums do come round. Loads of different bird life and plants. Lophostemon walk was just behind our site and it was a lovely short & enjoyable walk. Campfire designated pit available in every site. Rangers come round on Mondays."
"Great spot with 4wd tracks, swimming, etc nearby. Firepits on each site and there's plenty of room for a couple of tents plus your vehicle. There's a toilet but no shower. It's a great place near Brisbane that feels far away."
"Bush camping sites. 13 sites available to book online, you need to book well in advance for popular days. Very well maintained sites and toilet block - separate male/female toilets and a disabled toilet. No showers. Most Sites had a tap with water you need to boil to drink. All sites have own firepit. As name suggests, there is a creek near by and a short nature walk if you cross the creek. Heaps of wildlife to see and be respectful of. The rangers were good too, visited the camping grounds each day and stopped by each site to check all was okay. Short drive to Rocky hole (water hole) and the Gantry day use area. Stayed here over Easter long weekend. We really enjoyed it!"
