Ipswich Show Society

Welcome to the Ipswich Show Society, located at 81 Warwick Road in Ipswich, Australia. Established on March 14th, 1866, our institution was formerly known as the Ipswich Agricultural and Horticultural Society. Later, on August 28th, 1872, it became the Queensland Pastoral and Agricultural Society.

Since our inception, we have been dedicated to promoting and encouraging the development of pastoral, agricultural, horticultural, and industrial interests in the Ipswich Region. With a rich history dating back to our first show on May 13th, 1873, held at a site in Churchill facing the Bremer River, we have continuously evolved and grown. In 1877, we moved to our present location on Warwick Road, where we have proudly hosted our annual shows ever since.

At the Ipswich Show Society, we operate as a not-for-profit organization. Our primary objective is to raise funds that are then utilized to upgrade and improve our facilities for the benefit of the community we serve. By supporting our events and activities, you contribute to the enhancement of our region and the opportunities we can provide.
