"Great little park find. Hidden away next to Bremer River. It's all new after the floods a few years back. Big area for parties and families look new. (They shut automatically as per the times in the signs). Plenty of tables and bbqs to take your own food. Small car park at the top and walking path along the parks mall water play area for stepping stones or jets for the kids. The water is constantly running so not deep enough for a swim. Again more tables with shade and BBQ. Then down to a double flying fox and exercise equipment. Def a good hr or so play here with kids. Next time I will take bbq lunch to enjoy."
"The park is quite expansive with lots of varied areas, including a water fountain play area, forest area with towers, climbing ropes with slides, zip lines, swings and and outdoor gym. There’s plenty of shaded benches and picnic areas, BBQ facilities and a toilet block, alongside a large grass area away from the road. Some repair needed, but overall quite an encompassing park with lots for all ages."
"Great place for families. Splash and play, flying fox, barbeques, and ample picnic facilities. It has a beautiful and clean amenities block, and the surroundings are well kept. There are 2 high-tower cubbies, and the entire adventure playground stimulates the imagination. It is our favourite park, close to the Ipswich CBD and board walk, for beautiful river views"
"In the heart of Ipswich CBD,along the river, this park is part of what's known as The River Heart Parklands. Its been affected by flooding several times, but council have done well to revamp it,and its looking a treat atm. Playground areas including a flying fox and big silver slide swings and a wateŕpark area. Sails provide some shade, and there are toilet blocks to get changed."
