"Great atmosphere and space, concert was amazing. Park at playne Street car park, which is a 1 min walk and free in the evenings."

"I came here to see a gig which was scheduled to start at 8pm. I waited outside in the car until about 8.40, because it was a child's night and there was a continuous line of people outside queuing to go in. At 8.40 I started queuing, and got in at about 9.10. The first support act was just getting off the stage. The second support act played from about 9.30 to 10.10. Then there was another 20 minute gap before the main act. They played from 10.30 to 11.50. So I experienced a lot of waiting around when I visited the Pier Bandroom. But at the end of the night, it was still a great experience. The band was engaging, played a nice long set with many of my favorites, and the venue had lots of space so even though it was packed it was still easy to find a spot to stand with a decent view of the stage. I'd recommend this place, but don't bother showing up early."
