"Julian has done our taxes for several years but as of last year, his reliability has dropped. He contacted us on May 5th this year 2023, to remind us that our taxes were due on June 5th and to ask if we wanted him to do them. I would have assumed that he had the capacity to do it if he approached us for the work. We sent all relevant material to him and I then heard nothing for weeks despite regular emails requesting news of our returns. June 5th came and went and he then finally replied to me saying the returns were done but needed to check over them and we would have them in a couple of days. He told me he had requested an extension from ATO up until July 3rd. It is now July 21st and still no tax returns done. No emails I send are ever answered. Julian used to be very helpful and reliable but that is now not the case. I would not recommend his services."

"Julian had been looking after our accounting for a few years. The service we paid for monthly slowly declined over the years. It got to a point where he would be very hard to reach and we started to get extensions from the Ato as he was not able to keep up. Then telling us he was getting extensions and not actually applying for them. He left us with overdue payments to the ATO and items not submitted. Once leaving Epoch we found there were many items missed that we were unaware of. We are now trying to work through finalising our account with Epoch and we are ignored from every avenue. We hope others don’t go through this with Julian."
