"I have been getting my car serviced here for about 8 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. This is a garage I feel I can trust! When I was first getting my car serviced as a new driver, I was nervous about getting ripped off or not understanding what was being done. However, George and the team have always been happy to take the time to explain things to me, give me a quote in advance when requested and always call me if they are going to do any additional work. When I moved out of this area, I took my car to another shop and was told a whole bunch of things needed to be replaced or repaired. I brought the car in to Gladstone Road Garage and they were honest about which things actually needed to be replaced and which didn't, saving me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary work. George and the team have also been happy to help with "silly" little things. For example, I got a new pair of taillights and on one side I couldn't get one of the bulbs to click into place. I gave Gladstone Road Garage a ring and they were more than happy for me to bring the car down on the same day for some help. Even though I don't live in the local area anymore, I still always take my car to Gladstone Road Garage for servicing and wouldn't hesitate to take my car in if I experienced any issues as well."
"I have had my car serviced by my car makers own dealers and by another large repair place in the gabba. George, the guy at Gladstone Road Garage, picked up that I had been driving around on illegal tyres, which the others had completely missed. This would have invalidated my CTP insurance had I had an accident before this got picked up. I will never go anywhere else. Wish I could give him six stars."
"Be warned! George with many years experience, thinks he can diagnose a suspected timing belt problem on an interference diesel by starting the engine. I specifically mentioned the priority of pulling the front of the engine cover off to inspect, (before starting the car.) With his action, 3 cracks are now evident on the front casing. He didn't even open the bonnet to check if there was oil in the engine, or any visual diagnoses before starting. I inspected the day before. Conveniently he flatly denies any unprofessional behavior. Since taken the car elsewhere."
