Welcome to Mind Matters Counselling Services, located at 49 Gisborne Road in Bacchus Marsh, Australia. Our institution is dedicated to providing a wide range of counseling and therapy services to help individuals achieve their desired goals in a calm, safe, and positive way.

At Mind Matters, we specialize in intensive therapy sessions, offering a small number of one-hour appointments for short-term counseling and therapy. Our focus is on somatic trauma, grief, and loss therapy, and we also provide individual and group clinical supervision. Every program we develop is unique and tailored to meet your individual needs.

Our services cover a variety of areas, including trauma and trauma-related issues such as addictions, attachment disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. We also specialize in death, dying, grief, loss, and crisis counseling.

Our intensive therapy program begins with a comprehensive two-hour assessment session, either in person or via Zoom, to determine if the program is suitable for you. Sessions are typically three to four hours long, with breaks, and can be conducted over two to four consecutive days. The final session serves as a consolidation and review of the therapy.

Our intensive program provides a depth of healing similar to that of a retreat, but with the convenience of being within your normal daily environment. It can be booked for a single day or multiple days, without the need for a long-term commitment. For those traveling from out of town, we recommend local B&B or Airbnb accommodations.

We work with adolescents (15 years old and up) and adults, both individually and in group settings. Additionally, we have an Alaskan Malamute named Emmie who is trained in Animal Assisted Therapy and works alongside us during assessments and intensive sessions.

In addition to our counseling and therapy services, we offer individual and group supervision sessions for professionals in various helping fields. These can be conducted in person at our Bacchus Marsh location or via Skype or Zoom.
