"This place has always been so accommodating and always make an ice cream hang with the family really enjoyable. My kids have allergies and this is the only place in Brisbane I’m comfortable bringing my kids because their sorbets are dairy and nut free. Thank you to the young guy who helped us this afternoon by going out of his way to get new spatulas after I voiced my concern for cross contamination. "I went along to try the ice cream at Gelatissimo while shopping at Orion shopping centre at Springfield. It made a nice break for us to sit down. We have enjoyed a good lunch and decided to spoil ourselves. The store is light and bright, with big windows looking into the courtyard space. There is plenty of seating so you can sit and enjoy your favourite flavours. The flavours they feature are some of the typical ones that you would expect but also some more unique and original ones. It was great to try some new varieties. The staff were very efficient and pleasant, very patient, and flexible while waiting for us and others to choose our selection. Also, they were happy to give taste samples of the flavours with a smile. You can get the usual waffle cones or sundae cups in different sizes. Prices start at around $5.95. One thing that makes or breaks good gelati for me is the texture. Having lived in Italy, I like a good quality ice cream, and the textures were lovely! Gelatissimo features both ice creams and sorbets, so it works well for any dairy or vegan ice cream lovers."
