"Went there today for the first time and won't be back. When we arrived there was only a table of 5 people in the place and after waiting 40 mins for our food we discovered they hadn't even started cooking it yet. I would not recommend visiting this place unless you want to wait over an hour for your food on a quiet day (hate to know what it is like when it's busy)"
"I’d like to say I’m so worried for this old treasure of a cafe. So many great memories here. After the staff left 2 years ago and new owners came in, it’s gone quiet and down hill. Breakfast takes too long to cook due to low staff and the freshness of food has decreased. It’s pretty clear what’s going to happen if the cafe doesn’t make a change asap! It starts now! Bake fresh cookies, the ones in the window have been frozen and they taste horrid! Ensure enough staff and have a special day so you get customers in! Get flags or offer a free coffee. Have a party! Fun staff with smiles and enjoy a chat with customers can be very helpful in bringing customers, regular ones too, as you build rapport with them. The place is clean which is good. It might need a new look soon. Perhaps slightly louder music and graffiti painted inside."
"Really bad, cold breakfast. For $28 I expected more. I ordered extra baked beans that were served in a ramekin that must have been used for serving salt. I tipped it onto my plate and had a nasty layer of white covering my food. I had heard good things about this place. We were also told on arrival that the coffee machine was broken. Happily drank a $5 orange juice."
"Very slow in getting the food to you. We waited for over an hour for a our breakfast to be made. The place was very quiet with only 2 other small groups. When the food did arrive it was a basic breakfast and not worth $22. Very poor presentation and standard. I will not be returning!"
"This place has its own vibe (a pleasant one at that). It's one of those tucked away cafes that locals only seem to know about. It's a Gem that if you knew about it, you'd want to keep it to yourself (but don't). The coffee is consistent. no matter who makes it and their food is delightful. The seating area is nicely arranged and there are no issues for wheelchair access. Take time to just chill out or grab a quick bite to eat while on the go. The toilets are clean and well kept for customers. We had a wonderful time and had a nice selection of foods that met our expectation. The quality and presentation was awesome. Pricing was spot on and waiting time was really good. You're met with a smile, and leave with a smile. Highly recommend if and when you are after a good quality breakfast."
