"I want to give a true review - the negative ones from last year when Melbourne was coming out of a pandemic and all child cares were short staffed seems unfair. Our daughter has adjusted tremendously thanks to the new staff and even though she has a hard time with goodbyes she now loves going and has the best time once there. I appreciate the app and the especially Bella who always helps our child at drop off with a cuddle and special attention. We got beautiful christmas presents with art and a book and photos too. Much appreciated."

"Management is bad, consistent staffing problems (All the good staff have left the center), they are constantly asking you to keep your children home if you can because they do not have enough staff for the day, there is no qualified Kinder teacher so they do not qualify for Kinder funding. Several staff have given 5 star reviews of the center including the current manager of the center. I would avoid this place like the plague, there are much better centers."

"My daughter absolutely loves attending Genius Seaford! As soon as we pull up in the drive way she’s smiling from ear to ear :) All the educators are lovely and so kind to her and myself! I love being able to see how my daughters day is in the app and seeing how much she’s eaten, when her nappies are done how long she’s slept for and many other great things! 10-10 for all the loving educators involved in making this centre how it is today"

"We started our daughter at this centre when we moved to the area in May '21. Initially the service provided was acceptable, and the centre itself is big and bright with lots of space for the kids to play. Unfortunately however, over the last 8 months service has deteriorated to the point that we have lost all confidence in Genius Seaford's ability to safely care for our child, let alone provide the promised learning and development outcomes. This is due in part to a steady staff turnover to the point that there is not a single educator still there from when we started our daughter 8 months ago. This includes three changes of the centre manager. We have noted: - the current centre manager is unresponsive to emails and dodges phone calls - booking requests for casual days are not actioned - no reports on the childrens' learning, or parent-teacher interviews are conducted - children are not provided their own cubby/space for their belongings, with backpacks commonly thrown in a pile in the hallway - reports on childrens' eating/toileting/sunscreen are rarely reported in the app - educators often do not remember our daughter's name (let alone ours) The last straw for us was being turned away by a staff member we had never met, on one of our daughter's regular days for the last 8 months. We were informed that she was not on a 'list' that we had never before heard about, despite specifically advising in writing that she would be attending that day. Our daughter was very upset by this and it was difficult to explain to her why she was turned away. Subsequently, no effort has been made by centre staff or management to explain why this happened or to check if our child is ok. In summary, Genius Seaford provides a poor service and we have serious concerns about its ability to safely care for our child, let alone deliver on any of the promised learning & development outcomes. We recommend parents look elseware in the area."

"Initially when we first signed up we were amazed at what they were going to offer us and our child. We started and my child absolutely hated being there to the point he would strangle us and grip onto anything to not let us go. The educator told me that I was absolutely not to hug my child at drop off and just drop him in the door and leave. There was no support at all with the awful drop offs. Yeah Communication between the centre manager was absolutely impossible. She would not answer emails nor return calls until I phoned head office. Extremely high turn over with staff and centre managers. My son is so much happier now that he is no longer going there."
