Australia Post Business Centre & Parcel Collection

"Yesterday I received SMS telling me my parcel was delivered, nothing was there - checked security camera, no one came for delivery. Called the sender & they followed up. Today the sender called me saying au post said they "accidently" marked the parcel as delivered & it supposed to be delivered today. The sender was very kind asking me to let them know if it is still not delivered today - they will send another copy via express post. I am at home today, door bell never rang & no one came for delivery. However I received another SMS just now saying my parcel is in the locker ready for collection. What a shame!"

"Driver refused to deliver my package and "customer service" told me I have to pay for their non delivery anyway. I love paying for a service and then not getting it. HHHMMM surely it's not legal to lie about the service you are providing to your prospective customers thus obfuscating information they that could have caused them to make an informed decision not to use your service. Because if I was told the truth about how this company operates I would never go to them for anything. But if anyone needs to know: This service will refuse to deliver your packages roughly 50% of the time, if you see your package at all chances are it's going to be smashed beyond repair and rarely if you're lucky you MAY get a normal delivery but I wouldn't hold out on that, now dear customer if you were told this would you pay for this company's service?"

"I've had a few issues with posties not attempting delivery or delivering to the wrong address, but the staff in the DC are always friendly and efficient when I go in for assistance or to collect a parcel. I also love using the parcel lockers here, just wish I could use it as my delivery address more often when ordering things online. As a shift worker it's great to be able to pop past in the wee hours and collect my parcels."

"Its so annoying to make sure you're home for a delivery only to never even hear a knock or doorbell (would have absolutely heard it). What's worse though is there is no possible way for full time workers to collect the package with opening hours ending at 5pm Mon - Fri. Its nuts, I've never lived elsewhere in Melbourne where I couldn't pick up a parcel on early Saturday."

"The workers are nice there, they work with what they have of course. The main gripe, like everybody else suggests, is the hours. Closes at 5 pm and no weekend. I have no idea when I'm supposed to try and pick up a delivery. I do use the Parcel Boxes now because of this issue but it's not exactly in a nearby location for me. Also, I think this may be the fourth or fifth time no card was actually left. I think most, including me, are under the suspicion that AusPost drivers don't actually even attempt to deliver some packages in a day. Lastly, I hate to say it, but Amazon is a great alternative because they deliver on weekends, deliver promptly and deliver themselves rather than using any courier service or AusPost. They also communicate much better. I'd rather it not be this way with Amazon being what it is, but here we are."
