"I came across this place when looking for Red Wing boots in Brisbane. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and the purchase of my new boots was drama free and quick. Now to the boots, I bought a pair of Iron Ranger boots in black harness leather. I wasn't too sure when initially looking online as they appeared quite shiny but they have a nice matt oily type finish which is what I wanted. These are beautifully constructed boots made the old way with cork filling under a thick slab of leather on the footbed, a steel shank and goodyear welted. The leather is thick and durable and will take quite a bit to break in but that's always a sign of a quality boot. Sure they're not cheap but there are many stories of these boots lasting a decade or more so an average yearly cost appears quite reasonable. I've owned many high end boots from RM Williams to Belstaff and these outrank both of them for construction and feel. I'm now sold on this brand and won't hesitate to buy another pair when need be.
