As a family-friendly dance school, we aim to inspire a love for dance in all our students. Located in the heart of Brisbane's Bayside, Kellehers Dance Academy offers classes for students ranging from 2 years of age to adults. We take pride in offering the widest range of classes, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Progressing Ballet Technique, Adult Programs, and Danceability classes for children and adults with special needs.
Kellehers Dance Academy has a rich heritage of dancers, spanning almost 90 years. Our founder, Megen's Oma (Grandmother), began dancing at a young age and continued teaching dance during World War II in Concentration Camps. Her love for dance was passed down to her daughter, Marijke, who also started dancing at the age of 3 and went on to run a boutique dance school in Tingalpa.
Now, Megen is proud to be the third generation of family dance teachers, passing on her love for dance to the students of Kellehers Dance Academy, along with her three children Brittany, Holly, and Bailey.
